It’s springtime, and what a perfect time to assemble a trampoline. Is should only take about 45 minutes to an hour, depending upon the model you purchased.
First, you need to read the instructions and get all the parts out of the trampoline box and lay them out on the ground. With the instruction book in hand and all your parts laid out, make sure you have all the parts, there should be a check list with the instructions. Once you’ve established that your have all the parts, it’s time to begin.
Second, follow all the instructions. The first part you will assemble is the circular frame, then you’ll clip together the legs to the frame. Then you’ll add on the side rails and base. Then attaching the extension rails comes next. After that, it’s time for the trampoline mesh to be attached to the main part of the trampoline base. Lay the mesh inside the frame area, lay it on the ground. Then begin to hook one of the springs onto the eyelet of the frame. Then, count out 22 eyelets and and attach the 22nd spring to that eyelet, go all the way around, hooking each 22nd spring to each corresponding eyelet. You’ll have 4 springs attached on your first round. Then, those 4 springs need to be tighten with the torque bar provided. Attaching the springs to their corresponding eyelets is repeated until all the springs are attached and tightened with the right tension. The count for only attaching 4 springs at a time when going around starts with 22, then 11, then 5, then 3 and finally what’s left.
Once the mesh is completely attached to the frame, place the spring cover over the springs. Do not pass on putting this cover over the springs. This cover is the best protection for the jumper and serves as protection of the springs from rusting, or becoming corroded with weather damage. You’ll find assembly of a trampoline to be an easy process, but it’s important to follow the instructions to a Tee, this will ensure that the trampoline will not collapse or cause harm to the jumpers.
When putting up a trampoline first make sure the site is level. If the bounce mat is sloping it makes bouncing difficult and the bouncer will end up on the edge of the trampoline. Also, make sure there are no overhanging trees or cables which a jumper could collide with. The trampoline needs to be about 2.5m from any object such as a fence or garden shed in case someone falls off. It can be much easier if you have help as some of the steps in putting up a trampoline can be difficult to do alone.
The two types of trampolines are recreational, and competitive. Recreational trampolines aren’t constructed as sturdily as competitive trampolines, and their springs aren’t as strong. Recreational trampolines come in both outdoor as well as indoor varieties, and are available in various shapes and sizes.-
